Spring Cleaning

Spring is back my friends !

This blog has been updated and cleaned a little.

The "Catalogue" section is now more ergonomic, the "Listen /Download / Purchase" section has been updated with very important infos, and many more details have been improved all over this whole website.

We hope you will enjoy your visit here.

You can also notice that we changed the pictures, in order to have a brighter ambiance.

Some infos about our artists:

- Galaxial Asylum album is still not available... We're really sorry about the delay, we wanted to release it this winter, ans it sucks not to have this masterpiece available for you yet.

We currently have some problems with the artwork of this album. As soon as we will have it, the record will be available. That is to say, we hope it will be very soon.

- Novosibirsk will release its first album very soon after the Galaxial Asylum record.
It will be a five pieces Ambient album, called ''Kultur SCUD"

- Burning Lung should come back sooner than planned. As you know, this project is currently on ice and inactive. This come back, however, will be under an other name and under another perspective... More infos will come this year, about the new name, and the plans of Burning Lung about its brighter future.

Enjoy the return of the mighy Sun. May Baldr and Sunna enlight you.

Roster changes: Catastase no longer signed with Ritual Boredoom Productions

Catastase and Ritual Boredoom Productions decided today to end their collaboration.

Thus, Catastase is from now no longer considered active in the Ritual Boredoom roster, and Ritual Boredoom is no longer considered as Catastase's label.

We wish Catastase the best for his musical future.

Time to move on

Hey everyone,

first of all, you may have noticed that we changed our URL adress. The "-prod" was deleted, in order to short the whole thing. Now you can find us on "ritual-boredoom.blogspot.com". It messes some stuffs up, as in google you first access to our old URL, but things should be better with time.

So, here are some important news. As we told you a few months ago, we were very unpleased of the new version of Soundcloud.

We felt it to be far less intuitive than it used to be, and didn't want to stream our Sounds via this website anymore.

So, we decided to change some stuffs over here. Now you can access to our music via our new Bancamp page. Not very original we admit, but still we thought it was the best thing to do for your listening comfort.

So, in addition to the Ritual Boredoom Bandcamp, each artist on the RBP's roster will also have a Bandcamp page. You'll be able to download or purchase our music via these personnal bandcamps.

For the moment, you can access Burning Lung and Catastase personal Bandcamps. More to follow !

This page has also been updated, you can find all the infos about these changes on the "Listen & Download" page of this site, and some little stuffs all around the website.

We know we didn't give a lot of informations on the next Ritual Boredoom releases, but don't worry, they are still planned.

From the Cave :

Galaxial Asylum's album, "Arène Celeste", is still predicted to be released this year. You will be able to find more sounds of this promising album very soon. For the moment, you can still check the two tracks available on the Ritual Boredoom bandcamp! Galaxial Asylum's bio to come soon

Novosibirsk is also in the house ! After their first gig at the Boule de Noyse festival in Reims, they decided to focus on their first record. They have enough improvisations now to release something, and you can listen to two tracks on the Ritual Boredoom Bandcamp. The rest of the album still have to be roughly mix, and the RBP005 should be their record. We won't plan any date for this, but it should be available shortly after the Galaxial Asylum release. The Novosibirsk's bio was recently updated.

Also, П is back to life! He's currently working on his next release, and some news (and sounds!) will be available later. He didn't released anything official since the split with Burning Lung, but as promised, this project is not dead and you will hear about it at some time.

About Burning Lung, he's still dreaming in R'lyeh and does not plan to come back to terrorize you for the moment. Virvaliekki is currently focused with Novosibirsk, and we remind you that the EP "Contre Jour" has been postponed to a undefined date.

Thanks for reading,

Novosibirsk: Concert à Boule de Noyse et Crasse Rémoise !

Yop,

Soundcloud's shits

Soundcloud changed its design yesterday. It put a real mess on our page. All the songs are mixed up, and not in their correspondant album.  Now, if you want to see the releases of the label the proper way, all sorted, click on this link : http://soundcloud.com/ritual-boredoom-prod/sets
Then, click on the "set" title", in order to listen to the song you want.

Danke.

NOVOSIBIRSK (yeah, we dropped the "Dronologik Kommando" thing, it was really too long)

Hej !

To keep you patient before the release of Galaxial Asylum's first album this winter, 2 tracks of Novosibirsk are now available in the preview section on our Soundcloud.

Novosibirsk is an improvisation band composed with members of Burning Lung and Galaxial Asylum. We hope you will enjoy those dark soundscapes.

Also, Novosibirsk will perform a gig in Reims, France, the 22th december, in collaboration with Hubert Michel and his 30 speakers...

This gig will be organised with the collaboration of many great labels, including Ritual Boredoom.

You can find more informations (in French) on "Boule de Noyse", here and on this website

Bref ça sera une jolie fête, come on !

Burning Lung's EP "Contre-Jour" postponed

Burning Lung's new record, originally planned to be released in the beginning of 2013, will finally be postponed to an unknown date. Bad news for the moment, but this EP isn't cancelled at all and will be released on Ritual Boredoom.

Here are some explanations : I suffer from a back injury for about one year and a half now, and each and every movements are still very painful right now.

I had to stay in bed 8 months and wasn't able to play, and even if now I'm able to walk a little and restart my life back to what it should be, this injury still occupies my mind hugely.

I composed some stuffs for "Contre-Jour", and I already know how this record will sound. Shorter (that mean less than 20 minutes ;-) ) industrial experimentations, synths related, still combined with some ethnic droning sounds. It should be really different from "Laïka Sonic Disaster".

But as I'm still heavily injured and weak, I have now to choose how I should spend my energy. It begins by thinking about my health, rest, and take care of myself.

But I'm not forgetting music at all, as I will still run this label with 100% of my heart, and also continue to organise gigs with my comrades of Caktus (by the way, as I said in the previous news, we currently organise the second edition of the Pacemaker Festival in Reims. Follow the link and stay tuned, come visit us in November!).
I'm also involved in tiring rehearsals with the Novosibirk DK, preparing our future recording and the gigs we will perform...

To make it short, all those music related occupations don't let me enough strength to focus on Burning Lung the way I would like to, considering my current health problems. The wiser decision to make is to slow down my solo project, in order to come back in a great shape, and darker than ever.

Thanks a lot for all the support I received with this project during the past 3 years. Believe me, Burning Lung is not dead yet. He just need to take a deep breath, fix his fucking broken back, and he will be back to make some Occult Noise soon.

Thanks for reading, and take care,

Varulv Virvaliekki

IMPORTANT NEWS: Soundcloud updates - NDK - Pacemaker Festival 2012

Hi everyone,

- new features on our Soundcloud. Now you can acces a "Preview" section, with some tracks that will be published in advance, before the physical product is released. It's a good to way to hear what will be going on Ritual Boredoom Prod ! Right now, you'll be able to hear some Galaxial Asylum, the latest project signed on our Roster, currently working its first album, "Arène Celeste". Enjoy.

- Also, the Novosibirsk Dronologik Kommando page was updated. The Kommando is back to life, and will perform its 1st gig in Reims in November. More infos to come.

And as I don't want to forget our non-speaking french readers, please be aware that the Pacemaker festival II is scheduled between the 2nd and 17th November. We're currently working on the line-up with the assos Deux Epis, FLESH and Oxal Art, and of course the grand and great Caktus, in which I'm a part of.

More infos about the programmation to come. So if you're from Belgium, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, The Moon, Kazakhstan or R'lyeh, don't hesitate to come in Reims (about 150km on the east of Paris), and have fun with us. The exact dates will be annonced soon, and I'll give you an adress to make reservations.

Stay Doomed

Updates !

Here we are. As promised, we made some major updates recently.

Now, each and every Ritual Boredoom releases is downloadable, in integrality, and of course for free. Check the new "DOWNLOAD" section, and you will find all the informations needed.

Also, now you can listen to some great Catastase ! We're happy to announce that "Sommeil à Ondes Lentes/Sommeil Polyphasique" is now available. The "CATALOGUE" section was also updated. Check it !

Enjoy the Waves...

New additions to the Roster

Heavy schedule to come for Ritual Boredoom Productions. We are glad to announce that 2 new bands joined us recently.

- "Galaxial Asylum", ambient project of the great pianist Kévin Francis, joined Ritual Boredoom and will release its first album, "Arène Celeste", around next Christmas.
Check the "To be released" section to see all the new physical copies we are planning to make. There are good surprises.

Great news... Also, the Ritual Boredoom Soundcloud will be updated soon. For now, there are only some songs available, but soon all the releases will be there, in integrality. Of course, for the moment, you can find all the music on the soundclouds of the respective artists, for example Burning Lung or Catastase. But you'll be able to find everything on the same page in a few weeks.

Doooooooooooom....

And 10 ! Burning Lung is not dead

Since its creation in the end of year 2009, it is now the 10th time that Burning Lung is invited to share his droning processions on a great compilation. The 10th time, and only the second participation on a french label compilation, despite being based currently in France. (seems to be more easy for this project to cross oceans than to cross rivers)

This time, this is the great label Partycul System who invited Burning Lung on the CD "Cyclotron#2". The song proposed by BL is called "Nyctalope", a five minutes sitar piece improvised and recorded in not even one afternoon, a few hours before the deadline. Due to the lack of time, this production is roughly mixed, but still occult...

Also, on "Cyclotron#2", you'll find great artists such as Lena Circus, Rroselicoeur, 4tReck, chevo légé,... So much reasons to get it soon ! Orders are possible via Partycul System (check the Links section), or via Ritual Boredoom Productions (check the contact section on the right)

Dooooom....

Novosibirsk Dronologik Kommando

The Novosibirsk Dronologik Kommando (or NDK for the lazy ones) made its first rehearsal last week-end, in the Ritual Boredoom Propaganda Bureau.

The line-up is for the moment composed of 2 guys, who play respectively in Burning Lung and Catastase.

The idea emerged of Dominik Metzger's will to play improvised ambient music with other people. To begin his new project, he choose to jam with Maxim Verrière of Catastase, the newcomer on Ritual Boredoom's roster.

This is not definitive, as the Kommando wants to expend itself as a collective with various line-ups, featuring other musicians that would play with those 2 crazy bastards. Anyway, it's under this 1st form that the NDK should create its firsts tracks.

The Novosibirsk Dronologik Kommando is born. More infos coming soon.
